Choose a fixed order

Pick an order and stay with it. Many learners begin with shorter surahs because early completion helps build confidence, but the most important thing is consistency rather than constantly changing the sequence.

Memorize in connected pieces

Work ayah by ayah, then connect each new ayah to the one before it. At the end of the session, recite the entire new portion without looking. This catches transition mistakes early.

Use a weekly revision day

Alongside daily revision, reserve part of one day each week for a broader review of what you memorized that week. If mistakes increase, reduce the next week's new target.

Keep completed surahs alive

Finishing a surah does not remove it from the plan. Put it into your old-revision rotation so it continues to return after completion.
