Description of Service

Tatbith is a Qur’an memorization planning and tracking application. It provides structured hifdh sessions, revision scheduling, repetition counting, and progress tracking. The service is currently in pre-launch and available via waitlist. The Android application will be released in a limited beta prior to public launch.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tatbith. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware of and has consented to your use.

User Accounts

Tatbith uses Quran.Foundation for account authentication. By signing in, you agree to provide accurate information and to maintain the security of your Quran.Foundation account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share your credentials with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Tatbith to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its systems
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or disruptive content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or reproduce any part of the application without permission
• Use the service for commercial purposes without prior written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

Intellectual Property

Tatbith owns the following original elements of the service:

• The Tatbith name, logo, and branding
• The website and app design and interface
• Original written content and explanatory text
• The app’s code and original structure
• The specific arrangement and presentation of features

General memorization concepts such as repetition, revision, listening, planning, and progress tracking are not claimed as the exclusive property of Tatbith. These are common educational practices and are not restricted by these Terms.

Qur'an Content and Third-Party Sources

Tatbith does not claim ownership over the Qur’an. However, specific translations, audio recordings, fonts, layouts, timing data, metadata, and third-party datasets that may be used within the app could be protected by copyright, license terms, or provider conditions. Tatbith endeavors to use such content in accordance with the applicable license of each source.

Use of Qur’anic content within Tatbith does not grant you any license to reproduce or distribute that content outside of the app.

Third-Party Services

Your use of Tatbith may involve the following third-party providers:

• Quran.Foundation, for authentication and optional data features
• Supabase, for backend data storage
• Vercel, for website hosting
• Google Play, for Android app distribution
• Email delivery providers (Resend, Gmail, FormSubmit) for notifications

Each of these providers operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy. Tatbith is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any third-party service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Tatbith is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or free of interruptions. You use Tatbith at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tatbith and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50 where no payment was made.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Tatbith at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using Tatbith at any time. To request deletion of your account and data, contact us at tatbith.app@gmail.com.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, unless mandatory local consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide you with additional rights that cannot be waived by contract.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify waitlist subscribers by email. Continued use of Tatbith after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
